We at Metro Repro were contacted about a project, a project with a codename “E75”. All of the secrecy and mystery got us excited, what could it be?
After finding out a little more information, we discovered that we had been contacted by Pinewood studios and E75 was code for the new Transformers movie. Pinewood were wanting us to print 4 large canvases for them.
We were supplying the prints for “on location” filming at Bamburgh & Alnwick castles. Not only were we able to fulfil the original 4 canvases, but when we received a call at 8:30pm one Friday evening from Pinewood studios asking if we could print 2 more canvases we couldn’t refuse! The whole team came back into work to get the extra canvases printed, working to the early hours of the morning. They were then hand delivered up to Bamburgh Castle the next morning. We couldn’t have received any more messages of thanks and our canvases went on to receive a lot of screen time.
