Our large format scanner has full high definition (HD) 1200 dpi optical CCD resolution. CCD technology provides superior colour imaging – the ability to scan a wide gamut (range of colours) and a high dynamic range (ability to see detail in dark and light areas) – combined with 1200 dpi optical resolution, the highest optical resolution available in any CCD wide format scanner in the market today. This enables us to capture vibrant, accurate colours for graphics as well as sharply defined line detail on technical documents and maps. Using the latest high-quality equipment, we can scan over one meter wide by virtually unlimited length.
Metro Repro provide a high resolution, high-quality flatbed scanning service for artwork up to A2+ in size. Flatbed scanning is ideal for documents that can’t go through traditional capture devices, such as fragile documents and artwork, books, mounted documents, canvases and rare or expensive materials.
We offer a while you wait scanning service of documents, passports, ID cards and birth certificates etc. It’s an excellent method of backing up paper documents and saving them digitally for storage or emailing. We can also scan using OCR (optical character recognition). OCR scanning produces a fully searchable, text editable file in either a text or PDF format.
